Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in your English course, placed in England. I

have heard that Shakespeare School has a very good reputation among
Romanian centers which offer English courses. Through this letter, I want to ask
you for some details about the course which you offer.
Firstly, I am a student in last year of highschool and as you well know, i will have
final exams in july and later, college entrance exam. Hence, I would like to know
if this course is available at the end of July or in August. In addition, it would be
great if you could offer me any information about the costs that this course
involves.
Secondly, I would also want to know some information about accomodation. As
you well know, I am an international student and I will definitely need a place to
live during the course. I am new in this country and I would prefer to live in a
campus togheter with other participants of this course. Moreover, I would be
grateful if you could give me information about leisure activities.
As Ive said, I honestly want to participate to this course so I look forward to
receiving your answer.
Yours faithfully,
Ana Pduraru

1) Im going to talk about an advertisement that I like.

2) So, the advertisement that I like is one of a mobile phone company.
3) In this advertisement are presented a father with his son in a park. At a
certain time, father, who is elderly, sees a butterly and he asked his son
several times what is it. Son responds more annoyed that it is a butterfly
and he asked his father why he insists with the same question. As a
respons, father offers to his son his diary and tells him to read a passage in
which was described a similar story. At the sight of a butterfly son asked
his father for many times what it is and father answered him each time
that it is a butterly. After he read, son hugged his father with much regret.
4) Even if I saw this ad many years ago, it still remained in my mind because
it is a other kind of advertising from those that currently dominate our
society.
Beyond the huge amount of information which we receive in school, i think that
the most important things that we learn during the school are: doing your best ,
that we should not underestimate us, to have self-confidence, working in a team,
sharing with others, respect and empathy.
