REQUIREMENTS&PROCEDURES

TherecognisedacademicqualificationforregistrationasaGraduateEngineerwithBEMincludesthefollowing:
Anengineeringdegreeaccredited/recognisedbyEAC,BEMavailableinanapprovedlistmaintainedbyEAC,BEM.
Fordegreewhichisnotrecognised(e.g.3yearsprogramme)needtobetopupwithamasterdegreebyinstructionfromaccrediteduniversity.Forfurther
details,checkRequirementtobeRegisteredinElectricalEngineering.

BRANCHERSOFENGINEERING
Forgraduateregistration,thecandidatewillbeplacedinthebranchasstatedinhisbasicdegreecertificate.

PROCEDUREFORREGISTRATION
1.TheapplicantshallsubmithisapplicationviaMyBEMOnlineSystemorinFormA.
2.ThecompletedFormAshallbesubmittedtogetherwith:
Certifiedcopyofthedegreecertificate.
Certifiedcopyofthetranscriptofacademicrecordordetailofcourseandsubjectstakenwhichisissuedbytheuniversity.
CertifiedcopyofIdentityCard.
ProcessingfeeofRM50.00.
3.ThecertifiedcopyofthedegreecertificatefromaforeignuniversitywhichisnotintheEnglishlanguageshallbeaccompaniedbyatranslationofitinBahasa
MelayuorEnglish.
4.EverydocumentsubmittedmustbecertifiedasatruecopybyaProfessionalEngineerwhoisregisteredwithBEM.
5.Ifthebranchmajoredinbytheapplicantisnotstatedinthedegreecertificateordegreescroll,theapplicantisrequiredtoenclosedetailsofthesubjectstaken
duringhiscourse.ThisistoenableBEMtodeterminethebranchbasedonthecoursecontentand/orbyreferencetorelevantprofessionalbodies.
6.TheapplicationwillbedecideduponbyBEMwithinfourmonthsfromthedateofreceiptofcompleteapplication.

7.Anapplicantwhoseapplicationisapprovedwillbenotifiedaccordinglybyletter.
8.Theletterofnotificationwouldstatetheregistrationnumberandthebranchofengineeringinwhichtheapplicantisregistered.Branchofengineeringeligible
willbeassessedbytheboardbasedontranscriptsubmitted.
