RELECTION ON ESSAY
1. My idea.
My idea about my subject didnt change much. Most of the sources and research that I
found supported my ideas. I have learned more about different aspects of success.
Success is different for each individual. It also depends on culture, family, ages, and
education level.
2. My research.
I went to Google to search for books about success. I read through those books and
picked one that was the best for my project. Then I went to Proquest to search for articles.
Because success is a very general topic, I found too many sources. I had to narrow down
the resources that came up by using different key words so that I can find the best
articles. I read through the articlese to see if the main points matched with my topic or
not.

3. The effect of my research on my direction.

It was very interesting to see different perspectives about success. I didnt see any
information that went against my points, but some of them had many different key points.
I found more than enough. Thats why I need to write more detail about success, which
can help my reader gain a good knowledge about success.

4. The writing of my essay.

For sure, talking header and this project help me very much. My writing is very formal. I
want to be clear in my points, and the reader can see this essay can really help them to
understand more about success.

5. My critique group.
My critique group helps me to understand more about my topic. I can see different views
from them. I learned much from them, when they shared and helped me about English,
especially in writing.

6. My life as a researcher.
This project helps me to know about Proquest. I dont know about this great source until I
start this project. The earlier researches, I mostly base on my own personal experience
and some books or article that I have read before.

7. My life as a learner.
I learn how to do research properly in this class. I know how to cite, quote, and use the
materials to support my ideas. I can use my topic that I researched for my personal
success. This can be something I need to go over sometimes, when I set goal.
