WHO ARE WE?

Since 1833 the St Vincent DePaul Society
has offered charitable works to those in need,
each conference is sponsored by their local
church. St. Luke Conference in Toms River
has been helping those in need in our local
community for the last 8 years. We are 100%
volunteer staffed and we assist with food,
rent, utilities, and a vast array of resource
referrals to hundreds of families a year,
many of which would not be able to meet
their basic needs without our help. Many of
these people who come to us for assistance
are elderly, disabled, or single parents trying
to raise children on limited resources. We
are proud to be their strength and support
when there seems to be no other hope. In the
last year we have experienced a large influx
of calls requesting help beyond our
capabilities. This is why we are holding the
outing, so that we can continue to do the
work we have been doing, which is helping
those in our community during
a difficult time.
We are a 501c3 and all donations are tax
deductible. Please consider being a part of
this very worthy cause, and in return we
promise that we will continue to do what we
do best and that is to offer help to those in
need in our local community regardless of
religious affiliation, age or race.
Thank you and may God continue to bless
our volunteers and our donors for all they do!
