giving utmost importance to marketing, when our country is having a big
population to serve and adequate scope for banking services. Explain him why
bank marketing became necessary for banks in Indian Banking Industry? List
out reasons and explain.

Session 2 (12-07-2016)
1. What is a product strategy? List out any five product strategies (under
marketing mix), which banks generally use?
2. List out any 5 common pricing strategies adopted by banks (with at least
one example for each) in marketing mix.
3. Explain what price strategies are in marketing mix and list out at least five
place strategies adopted by banks.
4. Assume that you are the marketing officer in Regional office and your
Regional Head is assigning you the task of launching a new product of
your bank. List out and explain the various sequential steps for
undertaking promotion for product launching.
