PREVENTING THE SNATCH THEFTS AND BREAK INS

Accoding to Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) vice


chairman Lee Lam Thye said that the publics fear of crime has jumped to
80% from 70% recorded last year. Moreover, the criminal statistic also has
been rapidly increased including in our residence area especialy in snatch
thefts and break ins cases. Several hot area have been recognise in our
residence area such as shop area, railway station, night market and other
crowded area. This hot sport area are not just the recent area for us to be visited it also will be
dangerous area for us. Therefore, we need to take an action for preventing all this criminal cases
decreases.
Firstly, the public are reminded not to visit the hot area alone without company. This is
because the snatch thefts are normally targeted the victim if they are alone.
