Making Learning Fun

What is learning? No one can define learning but I

know that learning is not Time bound .It has no
limitations and restrictions. One can never say when
his/her learning started or stopped, learning is a
process throughout ones life. Making LEARNING fun
can be paraphrased to making LIFE fun. Every
moment in your life you learn. This ability to learn is
what distinguishes us humans (Homo sapiens) from
animals, birds and other living creatures
Fun is when what you learn or the process in which
you learn is interesting and not boring. Making
learning fun is vast topic to write on, therefore this
essay will focus on making classroom learning fun.
The biggest question which awaits us is How to
make the learning interesting? This will happen
when the learning is interactive and not just the
educator(teacher) standing in front of the class and
filling the brain of the learners ,not knowing if there
is space and the mindset to absorb what is being
taught. This kind of environment should be changed
and learning should be a journey of sharing which
should include a lot of discussions where every
individual participates. This will help the learners to
voice their question, doubts and help other learners
to understand the concept taught, better. This will
also give an opportunity to the educator in

understanding how to pitch his/her ideas so that it

will be more interesting and useful to the learners.
This learning in the classroom could be fun if it is
not forced upon the learners, if it is forced then they
will study for others and the societys sake but not
just for the fun of learning therefore learners should
be guided but not forced. The classroom learning
could be made more effective and fun when this
learning is not used to judge a person or compare a
person with another. This is because CLASSROOM
LEARNING is like a drop of water in the vast ocean
of LEARNING therefore level of learning should not
be the parameter to judge/compare a person .First of
all learning should not be judged or compared
because it is something which is limitless and it is
something which is not measurable.
These are some of my fun learning .I would like to
conclude with two statements:
Learning never starts or stops it is LIFE
Fun is everywhere it should be utilized
