With Out Replacement

In this problem there are 9 Gummy Worms. 3 are green, 3 are red, and 3 are blue.
Without replacement means that when you take a gummy worm out of the bag, you
do not put it back in the bag. In this case you will take gummy worms out of the bag
3 times. The first row of boxes you start out with 3 green, red, and blue gummy
worms out of a total of 9 gummy worms. That is why the fraction is 3/9. As you
move on to the second row of boxes, remember that the one gummy worm you took
out you did not put back in, so now there are 8 gummy worms. When you take out a
green gummy worm there are going to be 2 instead of 3, but you only took out a

green one so it doesnt affect the other gummy worms. The new fraction for the
second time you pulled gummy worms is 2/8 green gummy worms, 3/8 red gummy
worms, and 3/8 blue gummy worms. You will do this for the red gummy worms and
the blue gummy worms. You will also do this a third time. Once again, remember
that when you move on to the next row, you already took a gummy worm so instead
of it being 8 it is going to 7 for the third row. You will do the exact same thing just
take out one from the each color of gummy worms and it will give you a new
fraction. In the end it should look like the table and below.
