Game: Anagram Race

1) An anagram race is an exercise which involves making short words out of a

longer word.
2) The main word will be flashed on the smart board.
3) Each group should appoint a secretary. This person will be responsible for writing
the answers.
4) Letters may only be used once in each word, unless they appear more than once
in the word on the board.
5) Each group will be given 1 minute for each round.
6) Once the time is up, our representatives will collect your paper and check your
answers.
7) One point will be given for a word with less than four letters, two points for a word
with more than four letters. If the word has four letters only, 1 point will be given.
8) There will be 5 rounds altogether.

The 1st round will be the trial round.

The 2nd and 3rd round will be the elimination round. The group with the lowest
scores at the end of these rounds will be eliminated.
The group with the highest score at the end of the 5 th round will be the winner.
