Lionel Galvez
Letter of Recommendation ~ June 23, 2016
Lionel was a member of the University of Central Florida Professional Selling Program. The
Professional Selling Program is designed to expose students to the dynamic, multifaceted nature
of the contemporary professional salesperson position and allow students to improve their
individual selling skills, networking, and interpersonal communication skills.
‘The program is limited to 35 students each year and features a rigorous admission process that
includes three interviews. Only the most ambitious and enterprising students are admitted.
Lionel eamed an A- in the Advanced Selling class (MAR 4415) during the fall 2015 semester
and an A- in the Strategic Issues in Sales class (MAR 4413) during the spring 2016 semester.
An important element of each PSP class is the “mentoring program”. Students are matched with
a business professional each semester and complete four assignments under the direction of the
mentor. Lionel did an outstanding job with his mentor in each semester and successfully
completed his assignments and received excellent performance reviews from his mentors.
Lionel is a very busy college student but he looks for ways to show his initiative and give back to
the university. He is the co-founder and marketing officer for the UCF chapter of the National
Society of Hispanies MBA's.
Lionel is a bright, enthusiastic and inquisitive young business professional. He has an engaging
personality and genuine drive to succeed. Learning how to sell requires individuals to deal with
rejection. Lionel has proven he accepts a “No” professionally and with a resilient attitude.
I give Lionel a high recommendation for your consideration,
