PREPARING PDMS

Ratio: 10g silicon to 1g catalyzer

Wear gloves
Define the quantities of material according to the ratio above
Take a tube (xx ml) to store your PDMS
Place the tube in the weighing machine
Zero the weighing machine
Use a xx ml syringe to suck the PDMS (from big pot)
Put the PDMS carefully in the tube making sure you dont exceed the

desired amount
8) Zero the weighing machine again
9) Use a xx ml syringe to suck the catalyzer (from small pot)

Put the catalyzer carefully in the tube making sure you dont
exceed the desired amount

Use a swab to make a previous mixing of both materials in the
tub

Use the vacuum pump for 5 minutes to reduce the amount of

bubbles in the mixture

Use the centrifuge machine for 4 minutes to remove the
remaining bubbles
