1. First, download and install on your PC Microsoft's .Net 4.0 Framework. (If you already have .

Net 4 or a more
recent version on your PC, then you can skip this step.)

2. Next, download the latest version of ChromaPure
http://www.chromapure.com/distribute/standard/chromapure.zip
The zip file will contain two files:
ChromaPure.msi
setup.exe
3. Unzip these files into a dedicated folder.
4. I have attached a license file to this e-mail (ChromaPure.lic). Save this file in the same folder.
5. Double-click setup.exe to install ChromaPure. Just follow the on-screen instructions.
6. Once ChromaPure is installed, an icon will appear on your desktop. Right-click on that icon, and then select
Properties. Click the Compatibility tab and select two options:
a) Run as Administrator
b) Disable display scaling on high DPI settings
7. Plug in the meter.
8. Start ChromaPure.
9. When you run the software for the first time, you will be prompted to install a license file. Browse to the folder
where you saved the license file, ChromaPure.lic, and import.
10. Open the Select/Initialize Meter module.
11. Click the radio button next to the Initialize button (If you have a meter with a serial connection, click the
small box next to the Mode Selection drop-down to set your port settings), and then click Initialize.
12. Select the desired mode from the drop-down, and then click Connect. (If the meter requires a dark reading,
place it face down on a flat surface before clicking Connect).
13. Select the desired Options, and then you are ready to begin a calibration session.
