I am a 47 year old nature photographer from Saginaw, MI.
I photograph mostly birds and mammals, occasionally
landscapes too, such as fall color in the upper peninsula. I started in photography when I was about 5 years old, but got serious about nature photography in the past 15 years. I have traveled to China, Africa, Central America and all around the US including Alaska and Hawaii to film birds and animals, but I especially enjoy photographing ducks and eagles in the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, which is an excellent local place to take great images close to home. My images have been published in several magazines, and have been used by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for publications, park displays, and visitor education as well.
