I am writing to you in connection with the job interview I have to
attend. Owing to an accident I have suffered yesterday, it will be impossible to turn up to the interview. My apologies for this incident, yet allows me to explain the situation. On Friday in the afternoon, after the university, two friends and I rent a car to go to visit the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France as we were invited to be the best students of the promotion. Once on the road, we decided to drive the whole evening with the aim of save up as money as be possible since we have not so much money. As a result of driving the whole night on the motorway and furthermore the journey was very samey as the motorway does not have got any bends and the darkness of the night, my friend, Marc, fall sleep for an instant and the car crashed into the crossing gate. Paul and I didnt realize which Marc has fallen sleep until we feel the impact. Fortunately, despite crashing at 120km/h into the barrier, we escaped more or less unscathed. Consequently, the car has been damaged and it can not be driven. Analysing the money we had and the different options we could choose, we decided to stay two nights in a cheaper motel waiting for the mechanic who repair our car. As if this were not enough, we have to pay the repair, and moreover we will have to pay the rent for this two days. So I would be grateful if you could give me a second opportunity, since I think I have a huge potential on this job. Yours sincerely, Llus Llevat
