3.1 Investigate Australia as a trading nation and its place within Asia and the global economy

Step 1.
Choose at least 2 countries in the Asia Pacific region. One of them should be Australia.
Step 2.
Research their respective parliament / ruling system.
Use the Compare and Contrast table to record your facts.
Copy and paste each URL website you visit and the date you accessed the
information.

1. Why is Australia involved with the nation (s) you have chosen?
2. Which body of law says Australia has an obligation to that nation (s)?
3. What resources (natural or otherwise) does the nation(s) have? How does this
affect business endeavours with that nation?
4. Who do you think rules that nation? Its citizens and its legal system or another
entity?

5. What other questions do you have about the relationship between Australia and
its neighbouring nations?
