1 Remarks on Filling Non-Cumulative Cubes

Reference Day for Non-Cumulative Values in the OLTP and in the BW System
The non-cumulatives for the non-cumulative InfoCube and those in the OLTP refer to the end-of-day non-cumulatives.
When loading data, the non-cumulative data (see below) is uploaded as end-of-day non-cumulatives. When running the delta initialization for the
transaction data, all movements from the day after the non-cumulative key date must be subsequently uploaded.
If OLTP evaluations and BW evaluations are compared, the values will be identical.
Example:
OLTP Data:
Closing non-cumulatives for 01.01.99: 100 units
Inflow 01.01.99: 20 units
Inflow 02.01.99: 10 units
Outflow 03.01.99: 5 units
A non-cumulative overview in the OLTP results from this:
Key date

Non-cum.

1.1.99

100

2.1.99

110

3.1.99

105

When uploading the non-cumulative data from 01.01.99, the non-cumulative 100 units is loaded. Since the inflow of 20 units is already contained in the (end-ofday) non-cumulative of 100 units on the OLTP side only movements after 01.01.99 may then be uploaded when running the delta initialization.
A non-cumulative overview in BW subsequently shows:
Key date

Non-cum.

Connecting Material Stocks to BW (InfoCube 0IC_C03)

InfoSources
2LIS_03_BX (Material stocks)
2LIS_03_BF (Material movements)
2LIS_03_UM (Revaluations)

Activities in the OLTP

Start Program RMCBINIT_BW ( Initialization of Opening Non-Cumulatives in Transfer Structure ) for DataSource 2LIS_03_BX
We recommend that you specify the plant as the restriction criterion and to run the program individually per plant, in order to avoid a long runtime. Use
the option Transfer Zero Stock only in exception cases, since this otherwise drastically increases the runtime. (Refer to SAP Note 655798.)
Start program RMCBNEUB ( Creation of Info Structures from Non-Cumulatives ) for DataSource 2LIS_03_BF
Start program RMCBNERP ( Creation of Info Structures from Invoice Verification/Revaluation ) for DataSource 2LIS_03_UM
You must enter a company code here as a restriction criterion for the accounting documents. If the accounting documents that belong to the material
documents refer to more than one company code, you must execute the program more than once with the corresponding restriction for the other
company codes.
The setup tables have to be empty during setup, otherwise the new data is added to the old data and then uploaded double to the BW system. You can delete
the setup tables using the transaction LBWG (Delete Newly-Created BW Data), application 03 (Non-Cumulative Controlling).

Activities in BW
Start creation of non-cumulatives: InfoSource 2LIS_03_BX
Enter update parameter Creation of Non-Cumulatives .
Note:
You may only start the setup one time. If you do not start the setup, no opening non-cumulative is loaded, and the opening non-cumulative is therefore
calculated as zero.
When creating material stocks, you can enter restrictions, for example,. for particular material numbers or plants.
Initialization of the delta process of material movements (InfoSource 2LIS_03_BF) / Revaluations (InfoSource 2LIS_03_UM)
Update Parameter: Initialization of the Delta Process . You can then only use the session Delta Update .
Note:
You can enter appropriate restrictions here as well, for example, for particular material numbers or plants.

Special Features (Examples)

Connecting a new plant, creating a new material
Since no opening non-cumulatives exist here, the non-cumulative changes can be posted to BW via the delta process using InfoSource2LIS_03_BF.
Connecting plants or materials that were already active in the source system and have opening non-cumulatives:
The steps described above should be carried out in the OLTP system and in the BW system for the plant concerned (materials).
