The Distinguished members of the AKG Advisory Council, Chairperson Prof. Lianan Barro, Mr. Ka Kuen Chua, PCOs, PNCOs, NUP, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon! Being newly assigned Deputy for Operations and cuncurrent Chief, AKGPSMU, I am new to the tasks. I cant wait to get started to become better acquainted with the full range of our journey. Surely, my PSMU members will be guiding me around. I am open to new ideas that the Advisory Council would want to share, more so that they have come up with a good number of membership from various fields with distinct angle of views about PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 and the challenges facing the Group today. Diversity is the strength of this team. Some of you are enthusiastic AKG long-time supporters. Others among you may no doubt have serious concerns about this Group. But I believe that most of us agree on at least one thing - focus on the goals and understand the objectives of the team and help each other to work toward accomplishing them. And if we start from that basis, I also believe that we can find an approach to getting support from our stakeholdersone in which we have the benefits of community support but simultaneously address their peace and order concerns. To those who are taking their oath today, I am confident you will be an asset to the team. We are very happy to have your talent in this Group. Apply it, work hard, and together we work to reach new heights. So, let's get going! Welcome to the Advisory Councils Oath Taking Ceremony!
OATH TAKING MESSAGE
The Distinguished members of the AKG Advisory Council, Chairperson Prof. Lianan Barro, Mr. Ka Kuen Chua, PCOs, PNCOs, NUP, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon! Last February of this year, the AKG Advisory Council recruited two new potential members, Atty. Aristotle Reyes and Mr. Haron Rashid Dima from the prosecution and yourth sectors, respectively. Thus, you have now formalized your maximum membership to build an effective team with other two potentials joining in the team- the Visayas and Minadanao Field Units AC Chairmen. I have witnessed their untiring support as Chairmen and it will be an honor to welcome them in the Headquarters. Indeed, the inlcusion of these two potentials will ensure the highest possible representation on the Advisory Council. The new members can assist in the recruitment of volunteers and the development of supportive volunteer activities in the regions of Visayas and Mindanao. They serve the link between the PNP-AKG and the community who may provide analysis of issues that may be efficiently applied with significant effect nationwide. Thus, may I take this opportunity to thank the Advisory Council for their continued professionalism, excellence and dedication. I am happy to see that you resolved to align to the PGS vision and strategy to help this Unit in the major issues encountered during strategy implementation under our context setting. We have a unique opportunity to deepen our comprehensive partnership related to the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030. It will be tough job. But as we have successfully passed and cenferred the Compliant Status last year with the Silver Eagle Award, we will be able to do better. I am positive that your individual skill, experience and ability can potentially combine to dictate overall performance outcomes for the team. I would like to conclude my remarks by expressing my hope that you continue your commitment and let us continue to work together to help each other to be our best for public service. Good day!
