Guide to Data Configuration File of RET

Antennas (V1.0)
This document describes relations between the model and the data configuration
file of the RET antennas provided by suppliers of Huawei.

Caution:
When you download the data configuration file,

Ensure manufacturer and model of the RET antenna are correct.

Ensure the data configure file complies with the RET antenna model. Or else
the actual RET antenna downtilt may not agree with the downtilt previously
set.

After installing the RET system, you need to configure parameters of the
remotely controlled motor for normal operation.

Note:
Ensure the remotely controlled motor is powered on before configuring
parameters of the remotely controlled motor.

Table 1.1 shows relations between the model and the data configuration file of
the Powerwave RET antennas.

The Kathrein multi-band RET antenna uses multiple data configuration files. For
example, there are two data configuration files for the model 742264:

KA_742264_1710-2170.bin: applies to the WCDMA system.

KA_742264_824-960.bin: applies to the GSM system only when the remotely

controlled motor is mounted on the RET antenna of GSM900 band.
