All access floors are specified by the loading characteristics of the

panels. To ensure that the raised access floor system will suit your
requirements there are six basic tests that are conducted on all
raised floor systems to ensure performance and longevity.

Concentrated load
A load is applied onto a
25mm x 25mm steel indentor
and the deflection of the panel
is measured. The deflection
should not exceed 2.5mm for
the concentrated load specified
and should not show any
permanent deflection.

Ultimate load
A higher load is applied onto a 25mm
x 25mm steel indentor until the
panel collapses or shows permanent
deformation. The ultimate load
should be a minimum of three times
the concentrated load, resulting in a
safety factor of three.

Uniform load
A load is applied over a 1m x 1m
area and the deflection of the
system is measured. The deflection
should not exceed 2.5mm for the
uniform load specified.

Testing a Raised Floor System

Impact load
A load is dropped from
900mm onto a 25mm x 25mm
steel indentor without the
system collapsing.

Rolling load
A load is rolled back and forth
across the panel through three
different size wheels. Deflection
of the panel is measured after
10, 10,000 and 40,000
continuous cycles.

Pedestal axial load

A load is applied vertically
onto the pedestal, the pedestal
should not show any permanent
deformation after each test.

The CF Panel has evolved through

technological research and development
to bring you a product that sets industry
standards, while being produced with
recycled steel.
The CF Panel is constructed from a
welded steel case with an enclosed die
formed bottom pan created in a high
pressure moulding process without any
welded corners. The top sheet is welded to
the base with over 110 welds. The panels are
in-filled with a specially designed light weight
cementitious compound. The expansion joint
system ensures the panel will never rock.

The ASP Air Tight System is a system

that is specifically designed to minimise
air leakage, When the access floor is
to be used as a plenum. This system
incorporates the use of a clip on air tight
stringer that acts as a barrier in between
the panels to eliminate air leakage.

This system as the name suggests

has a permanently fixed regid grid
understructure made up from the pedestals
and stringers. The stringers are screw
fixed onto the pedestal heads forming a
perfect 600 x 600mm square grid. The
system is recommended for applications

Glass

G Series

The G Series panel is the ultimate way to enhance

the visual effects of the raised access floor. Made
from 100% recycled glass the panels are designed for
use in a variety of situations and can be customised
to meet your requirements.
The Panels are available in clear, frosted or colour
backed with or without factory anodised frames, and
are available in strength grades from 4.5kN to 8kN.

Perforated

P Series

The perforated panel is an efficient way to provide

ventilation from under the raised access floor. Made
from recycled steel the perforated panel can be
designed to suit all panel types.
Specifically designed for use in computer and heavy
equipment rooms ASP perforated panels will ensure
your valuable equipment is kept running cool.
Perforated panels are designed for clean room
applications, hospitals, computer rooms, data storage
facilities and much more.
Panels are available in strength grades from 4.5kN to
10.9kN with 10% to 50% open area. A huge range of
factory applied anti static surface finishes are available.

Wood
Wooden flooring is available in several
grades, widths and thicknesses. Because
wood is a natural resource it is low in toxins,
renewable and recyclable. Most wooden
floors today are prefinished with UV cured
polyurethane layers to protect the wood.

ASP supply all types of wood finishes,

from bamboo to pine. Wood floors come
in several different forms from strips to
laminates and parquets.

HPL
HPL provides the closest to maintainance
free finish available on the market
today. Laminates come in a huge range of
finishes which can be applied at the time of
manufacture, making them fast to install and
incredibly durable.

Because of its high durability, better wear

and stain resistance HPL is a practical
surface for high traffic areas and offers a
warranty that few other flooring materials
can compare with.
Any design and pattern can be created in
HPL, including colour matching.

Marble, granite and agglomerate stone
exude natural beauty while providing
excellent durability. Its artistic beauty will
remain as bright and vibrant as the day it
was installed. Being a natural product it has
low toxin emission and is easily recyclable.

ASP can factory apply stone finishes, or

provide panels with custom frames to make
stone installation simple on site and prevent
chipping or rubbing of the stone tiles.

Our agglomerate stone is form finished

Underfloor AC
Our air distribution system offers better
ventilation by forcing contaminants and
heat directly to return air vents. This can
reduce energy consumption by as much as
30% and improves air quality for tenants.
Our ASP underfloor AC is a discreet
design that offers individual occupants
a customised local environment. The
speed of installation at construction and
the decreased ceiling height required can
result in huge cost savings.
