Class Reflection

I learned so many interesting things from this class and am really glad
that I decided to take it. Over the course of the semester, our understanding
of different concepts in a mostly chronological order gave us a more
complete understanding of modern human origins. Without learning about
the reproduction of cells, the function of DNA, and the fundamentals of
evolution and natural selection, the paper included above would not have
been possible.

I first signed up for this class because I needed a Life Sciences credit
and I didnt want to take Biology. However, as the class progressed, I found
myself indelibly fascinated with learning about the biology and evolution of
modern and ancient hominids. It was very eye-opening to look at how truly
ancient the world is, and about all the things that make us human.
