When I was attempting to creative a monster from the given picture I found myself
having a really hard time. It was hard for me to picture something without really
knowing how the end result was going to be made to fit into the story. I began
thinking of the type of story I wanted and what type of monsters/creatures would fix
into it. I just I took this assignment and did it backwards creating a story then
making my character fix into it. This process made this assignment a lot easier for
me to do because, I was picturing my monster as I was typing my story. I was
surprised how much fun I had with the brainstorming part of the assignment. And,
afterwards with the creation of my main character. It was also nice that we were
able to do an assignment like this, as most other teachers and professors would not
be up for it.
