Learn Arabic Naturally

Hello and welcome

I decided to re-shoot the seven fundamental rules that I filmed
3 months ago for a couple of reasons

But the main reason is the first reason (that Im going to
mention)

More than one person messaged me and told me that the sound
in those videos was way too low

And that it cant be heard and that its not clear

Even when they set it on maximum volume

) (
So thats the main reason why I want to redo them

Since its really important that the sound be clear when youre
trying to learn a language

The second reason is that

I had the feeling that I didnt really get the idea across because
I used to try to keep the video short so that translating and
transcribing

,

Dont take long since transcribing in Arabic takes a lot of
time, but now I dont mind spending more time on it

And also because, for some reason, I cant express myself as
well as I can when sitting down like now for example

So Im going to shoot the seven videos all over again and
upload them on YouTube all over again

So the first rule was about the importance of listening when
learning a language

And to stop learning grammar rules after reaching a certain
point/level

The point/level where you can understand the language when
you read it and sometimes when you listen to it being spoken
slowly and clearly

But you cant speak it yourselves and you cant express
yourselves

So thats when its time to start listening to things you can
understand in said language, or at least things of which you
can understand the majority

And in the ideal case youd have the transcription and

translation, just like you do in these videos

.

Another really important thing is that what you listen to be
natural Arabic. But what do I mean by natural Arabic?

That means not someone whos reading off of a piece of
paper/script

Someone who wrote those things beforehand and has revised
and corrected them more than 10 times and then turned on the
camera and started reading them out

But, for example, like just now

Of course I prepared my ideas and organized my thoughts
before making the video

Nevertheless Im speaking freely and talking about ideas and
things the second they come to mind and I just say them
immediately

Im not reading off of a paper

Of course I did like a short summery in my mind

Of the important things that I want to talk about

And then I talk naturally so that you can learn the language
naturally

,
Because when you talk to someone on the street, theyre going
to talk to you in this way

The same way Im talking to you now

And theyre not going to talk to you like in a literary language

,
Because, as you know, you speak differently than how you
write

And I apply this to all my other videos as well

.

I never prepare something to read off of when making a video.
I might write down just 3 or 4 bullet points

Each bullet point is made up of 3 or 4 words just so that I

remember the important points I want to talk about

And so that I dont forget to mention anything important, and

then after that I speak freely and naturally

And I talk about my thoughts as they come to me

So thats the whole point of these videos? In order for you to
understand others when they speak Arabic

You first have to listen to Arabic

But you cant listen to and understand Arabic unless you have
listened to it and understood it in the past

So we go through this cycle

:
The same cycle as: you need a job to get experience and you
need experience to get a job

So its kind of the same thing

So the whole point of these videos is that I talk to you in the
same exact way Id speak to another Arab

I gave it some thought, and Im going to talk neither fast nor
slow

, ,

Im going to talk like I normally do, like when I speak to
another Arab

,
and the transcription and translation will help you follow what
I say

And little by little, over time, youll be able to understand it
better and better

...

And the language kind of like pieces up in your brain and
when you hear ityour brain would b able to immediately
understand it

:
Thats the first important thing: Listening to things you can
understand in that language

This is the foremost important prerequisite for it to work

, ,

Second: in the most ideal of cases theyd be things that interest
you

And attract your attention

,

Because if you listen to things in that language that attract
your attention, youll be able to better recall them than if you
were to listen to things you arent really interested in

,
And if you werent paying attention while listening

So thats why Ill try my best to talk about things that attract
your attention so that we make this work in the most effective
way

So that its the most effective

,

Its also really important that you spend your time going this;
listening to the language after reaching this level

Because how people talk to each other on the streets and so on
has nothing to do with

Is nothing like the words and expressions you find in books

,

For example, if it happened to you before that youd been
learning a language for a long time and you feel like you know
it

,
And you can understand it when you read it, but when you
hear someone speak it

They use words that youve never heard before in your life

And at the same time you listen to a whole sentence and feel
like 5 or 10 words are all muddled up together

And you hear all those 10 words as one sentence

,
But when you listen to a language a lot, like in these videos

,
Where you can understand every word and make your brain
get used to that language

...

After a while youd start noticing howif you were to go
back to said videos from before, the ones you couldnt
understand initially

Youd notice that you can point out where a word begins and
the other ends

And youd be able to distinguish between them and everything
would become clearer

Let me give you an example on this

,
When I first started learning Italian about 4 or 3 and half years
ago, something like that

I remember how at first I learned it till the point I could read
and understand well

,
And then I started looking up videos on YouTube. I just
wanted to hear the language

I remember finding a video where I couldnt point out where

the sentence begins and where it ends while he was talking

Id hear everything as one big muddled mess

,
,
And then I left his channel and found a website that teaches
Italian in this same way; listening to things you understand in
that language for a long period of time

:
,
And then I went back to those videos about a year ago: the
video I had watched 3 years ago, I went back to it a year ago

And I was able to understand everything

, ,

And it was such an amazing feeling, how the same video
which 3 years ago seemed like a huge muddled mess

.
like a different language. As if it wasnt even the language I
was learning

,

And after giving this method a try I wasnt only able to
understand everything he said, but I was also able to point out
every word he said

Like if I had to transcribe what he said on a piece of paper or
on Microsoft Word

Id be able to transcribe exactly what he had said

So thats what I mean by making your brain get used to that
language by listening to it a lot

And if you think about it, this is the same exact way through
which we learned our first language, or also our second
language if some of you grew up bilingual

Like I grew up (bilingual) with both English and Arabic

I didnt have to study either of them

So Im learning all the other languages in the same way I
learned Arabic and English

So if youve studied Arabic before and you can understand it
when you read it

,

And if you can understand what Im saying by reading the
transcription and the translation, then this method is perfect
for you

,
And if you use it, I promise you that this method cant fail
because thats how our brain was designed. Thats how our
brain learns

, , :
If you use this method for a month, 3 months, 6 months, a year

Youll notice great changes and eventually youll be able to
better understand it and even speak it yourselves

I experimented with this same method with Italian, French,
German, and Im currently using it with Spanish

,

At this point I even stopped saying Im trying it. Im
using it because I know that it works and that in the end itll
get me the results I want

So I used it with those 4 languages and the results Im getting
are extraordinary

And I wanted to try and apply it to Arabic since there arent
many foreigners that can speak Dialect or learn it as fluently
as they learn other more normal languages

Like for example Spanish, English, and German

So this is like an experiment and Im 99% sure thatll work, if
you follow the right steps

,

So I hope that I got the idea across well. Nothing else is
coming to mind right now
