Learn Arabic Naturally

,

Today were going to talk about rule Nr.7, which has more to do with
why youre learning Arabic rather than with how you learn it

,

We all have our own reasons for doing things and the stronger these
reasons and motives are, the longer we stick to it

, ,

And do everything we can, everything in our power, to do it and

make it work/successful

But when our motive is weak and we dont put a lot of thought into
that thing before starting with it

and maybe we started doing it without really taking into
consideration whether or not its something we really want to do

We might slowly lose our initial enthusiasm and lose interest in it

and here we slowly stop doing it until we stop completely

Like for example when someone starts learning a language just to say
that he can speak it or that hes learning it

For example: if someone doesnt have passion for or loves languages
and starts learning Chinese, Japanese, or one of those really difficult
languages

, ,
Just to be able to say that hes learning it, or maybe even to show off

And he doesnt have any friends from that country and he doesnt
know anyone that speaks that language

And he lives in a country where hed never need that language and
hes not planning on going to a country where that language is
spoken

, , , ,
So after a while, could be after a couple of weeks, a month, two
months, hed start studying it less and less

In the beginning hed spend an hour each day and then hed
gradually cut down until he finally stops

So why does he stop in the end? Because his motive was weak in the
first place and he didnt have anything motivating him/pushing him
to learn it

, , ,
He wasnt doing it for himself; he didnt have a personal motive for
learning it

And he was only doing it as a way to show off and say that hes
learning it

And this is just one example

, ,

Maybe he wasnt doing it to show off, maybe for other reasons.
Nevertheless, reasons that dont motivate him and have nothing to
do with his personal life

So why is this so important and why do I want to talk about it in this
video?

, , : ,
,
Because when were doing something, whatever it might be: were
learning a language, were studying for something, were trying to
open a business, whatever it is

...

Were going to go through times where we feel a bit.i.e. we wont
be motivated anymore and we start asking ourselves why were
doing it and if we really want to do it

And maybe well want to stop or give up

At such times itd be crucial to remind yourselves again why youre
doing it

: : ....

Thats why itd be great if..try doing this: write down your motives:
why do you want to learn Arabic

,
,

So that when those difficult times come and you dont feel like
learning it anymore and you want to give up, you can go back and
look at that piece of paper

And remind yourselves why youre doing it, motivate yourselves
again, and continue just like before

Because its not a question of If I will go through those tough times,

or if a time will come where Ill want to give up

Its a question of when

,
,
Because every single one of us, regardless of the field were talking
about or what were doing, will go through times where hell want to
give up

:

And he wont feel like doing it anymore, and weve all been there: for
example, when we wake up and dont want to do that certain thing

,
So its not a question of if, but a question of when

, , :

So to sum up: Its crucial to know why youre doing something, your
motives/incentives, and whats motivating you

And to write them down somewhere so that you can remind
yourselves why youre doing it and to pick yourselves up again when
you go through those tough times; when you feel like giving up

,
And keep in mind that it is not a question of if, but a question of
when

.
So thats all for this video. Thank you for watching and Ill see you in
the next videos.
