Our natures dying
Mother Natures crying
What are we doing?
We have done nothing

Isnt it unfair that nature is giving her resources to us, people, we benefit
from them but we choose to abuse it and in effect, we just receive and receive
but not realizing that were not repaying what she has been giving to us?
As a teenager, Mother Nature has been really and always will be a great part of
my life you might say why but Ill tell you this, she gave to us all she had and
through that, I know she is really important. She is way too important due to
the fact that she has really contributed much to all especially to us people.
But the problem with us people is we keep on rejoicing, we become passive
and in effect, we dont hear Mother Nature cry. Who wouldnt cry if all your
trees have been cut down and were made for shelter and in effect you will be
the main reason why there are landslides occurring; Who wouldnt cry if your
resources are open for everybody but some people will really abuse your
kindness and in effect you will again be the main reason why our country is in

chaos; Who wouldnt cry if the people will only know your importance once
you give everything you have; Who wouldnt cry if you will always be the main
reason of every disaster when in fact, you did everything but still people
chose to abuse it and went away with everything and lastly, who wouldnt cry
if you cant barely see the true beauty of nature because it is nearly
destroyed.
Lets come to think of it, did we ever have the chance to say thank you to
Mother Nature?
These past 2 years, I have observed that our land has always been attacked by
typhoons, landslides, earthquakes and even tornadoes. But why do we
experience all of these in the first place? We experience all of these simply
because we havent done our one by one duty to Mother Nature. Our duty is
to take care not only of her but to all her resources as well and I do believe
that taking care doesnt mean abusing rather it means paying back all the
good things she has done and give her the care she has been longing for.
As what Dr. Jose Rizal said and I quoteAng kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan
This has been the saying that cant get out of my mind due to the fact that I
still doubt if that would happen since teenagers nowadays are quite passive,
doesnt care of the issues Mother Nature is facing and most of all, they are
non-reactive but very good in reasoning. Why do I know all of these? Simply
because I am also a teenager. Those things I have said earlier were really facts
about us teenagers nowadays, but Im pretty happy, it is because at least one
fourth of the teenage population here is motivated to help Mother Nature.
They still care and do things that will not only benefit Mother Nature but as
well as the people. Through these teenagers or through the youth we can
make good role models that will help encourage the people especially the
other youngsters to do our part in saving our land.
Of course! Organizing and creating milestones in saving our land couldnt be
possible without the help of Math, Science and Technology. In math and
science, it proved to us that there is really beauty in nature, due to the fact

that even nature offers a colorful multitude of shapes such as, some flowers
and starfish are pentagonal, beehives and snowflakes are hexagonal, planets
and moons are spherical even leaves and butterflies model various ideas such
as congruence, parallelism and perpendicularity so I believe that this is also
one of the reasons why we should start saving nature since this has really
proved to us that you can really see true beauty in nature.
Technology. This field has also contributed since without technology, we
cant easily scatter the bits of information that will probably help us in saving
our land.
Technology is also significant especially to us teenagers due to the fact that
many of us are inclined to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter,
Youtube, Multiply and the like. This is really a great help in gathering,
communicating and encouraging the people to take a stand and make a
change.
What you do to mother nature may it be big or small will be really appreciated
and will really make a big difference. Lets trust in ourselves, lets go green!
And Live green.
Im no hypocrite to say all of those words to you and not do it. I myself is
doing my best to help nature and this isnt a joke or just for the sake of writing
a good essay but its because I want to be one of the reasons why our land will
still be existing how many millions of years may pass.

So, Im addressing this to all the people especially the youth, Lets take a
stand! Lets work hand in hand because we will save this land no matter what
they say words cant break us down.
Let us be the change we want to see and I promise, this change will begin in
ME.
