SIDE MISSIONS FAQ

These missions are not important or needed to progress in the story but you need them to achieve 100% completion. You
can access these missions by fulfilling certain requirements in the storyline, they can access and played in any order and
any time. Completing all the side quests contributes 40% towards 100% completion, so if you need the achievement then
you need to bang your head with all the things listed below. Enjoy.

ASSASSINATIONS
After completing Truck Hustel for Phil, youll get a call telling you to go to the payphone. Head to the payphone and
youll meet a guy named, Fixer, who gives the locations of your targets. Your task is simple travel to the location and
carry out the hit. There are around nine targets waiting for you to come and kill them and yes they are very easy to get
as long as you use your brain and stay alive without getting busted.
i.

BAILING OUT FOR GOOD Your target is resting in the local police station and will leave in a while, go
to the spot and wait for him to come. Then draw out your sniper and put a bullet in his head to complete
the mission, if you dont have a sniper then use your RPG and blast his car when he enters.

ii.

DEAD DROP The target is currently escaping in a car, you can either chase after him and paint his car
with bullets or use your head and take a taxi to get to the spot before he does and kill him along with his
buddies, the second method worked for me so itll work for as well.

iii.

DERELICT TARGET Annoying missions whichll make you scream and yell because of the number targets
inside the building. You need to kill three marked targets, who are pathetically guarded by armed body
guards. Snipe out as many as you can from outside the building and fill your bag with some rifle ammos,
youll need them in loads. Enter the building and be prepare for an all out shooting and get some cover
for ass, take out guards patrolling in the first floor and move to the second, look for the targets and take
them out as soon as you find them. Once the building is cleansed and painted, drag yourself out of the
area to complete the assassination.

iv.

HOOK, LINE AND SINKER Get yourself a car or take a taxi ride and get to the spot. Once there, itll
become apparent that the target is in a boat and youll be instructed to chase after and kill him. If you
are lazy like me then equip your sniper and hit him in the head to complete the job.

v.

INDUSTRIAL ACTION At the beginning level of the mission, youll be instructed to kill three targets
dwelling in the Acter industrial area. But as you get closer to the spot, itll be changed to killing all the
flies living inside the building. Climb upstairs and get yourself a vantage point from where you can take out
as many guards as you can with least damage, if you are running low on sniper ammo then use a rifle. Blow
the guards patrolling then snipe out the remaining in the area, use a RPG or a grenade if you are having
trouble sniping all of them.

vi.

MIGRATION CONTROL The target is about to leave in a helicopter near Booth Tunnel, drive to the
spot and youll see the chopper is about to take off. You can either blast the chopper preventing the
target from entering and then kill him or wait for him to enter the helicopter and blast it before it takes
off.

vii.

R.U.B DOWN Drive to the spot where the deal is going on and youll see the bikers hanging out near
their bikes. Wipe out your rocket launcher and fire two-three rockets at a time to blow up their bikes,
thisll kill most of the dealers and prevent the survivors from escaping.

viii.

TAKEN OUT Another RPG assassination. Drive ahead of the target and stop your car where you are sure
to get a clear shot. Then draw out rocker launcher and blast the car to complete the mission.

ix.

WATER HAZARD Drive to the spot and gift the target a sniper bullet. Mission Accomplished.

CAR THEFT
After you finish Smackdown for Derrick, youll get a call from Steve asking you to send him some vehicles for some
healthy cash. Hell randomly drop you a message, which you need to read in order to start the mission. The cars are

scattered all over Liberty City and I DONT KNOW where they are to tell you, youll automatically get a notice telling
you find one of Steves wishlist. All you need to do is to drive the car to his garage and make sure it stays in one piece.

EXOTIC EXPORTS
Once you got an e-mail id in Logging On mission in Broker, youll get an email from Brucie asks for exotic cars to export.
Steal the marked vehicles killing whoever inside/near it and take it to his garage near the docks to complete the
mission. Remember you to access his emails and reply to them to trigger the mission, if not then no missions no rewards.

FRIENDS
Do all the activities with each of your friend and unlock their special abilities.
i.
Brucie A helicopter will come and take you wherever you want.
ii.
Dwayne Forge Hell send you a car full of gangsters as back-up.
iii.
Little Jacob He sells guns and ammos at discount.
iv.
Roman Bellic A taxi will instantly come and take you wherever you want.
v.
Patrick McReary Hell send you a time-bomb to your current location.
Note: Roman and Dwayne are not included in 100% completion.

GAMES
Beat your friends or computer in blowing, darts, pool and Qub3D and achieve the highest score.

MOST WANTED CRIMINALS

Call 911 and choose 1 to call the cops, wait for them to arrive and steal their car. Lose the wanted level and hack into
their computer to find the most wanted list containing a list of 30 most wanted criminals in Liberty City. Find them and
waste them to get 2.5% completion.

PACKAGE DELIVERIES
After you complete Shadow mission, Jacob will contact you asking help to supply drugs. Whenever you are free, call
Jacob and choose Job to trigger these missions. Basically they are beat up some guy missions, where you need to find
and waste the target/targets. There is no restriction like you need to use Jacobs whacked vehicles. You can use
whatever suits you and complete the mission however and whenever you want.

PIGEONS
200 pigeons = 2.5% completion seems so unfair dont you think. We have to go through hours of gameplay finding and
killing them all we get is 2.5% completion. Blah. Besides it doesnt seem right to kill animals, I dont like the concept. Its
well forget it. If you are looking for a map, then head to an internet caf and go to
www.whattheydonotwantyoutoknow.com youll find a map for all the pigeons.

RACES
If you manage to complete mission NO. 1, Brucie will offer more races which can be accessed through your cell phone.
Pull out you phone and call Brucie, choose jobs to trigger the races in which of course you have place first and win.

RANDOM PEDS
There are fourteen characters excluding Cherise, Clarence and Ivan, whom you might have killed in the storyline will
leave you with eleven. Meeting these characters will trigger a cut scene, where theyll ask you to do some simple favors
like escorting them somewhere, picking up packages or dealing with someone who are troubling them. Completing all
elevens favors will net you 5% completion. Go to www.wahttheydonotwantyoutoknow.com for a map, remember they are
available only completing certain missions in the storyline.

BADMAN
a.
First Encounter You can meet Badman near Harrison Street. He asks you to help him kill some drug
dealers, who are causing him trouble. Get inside a car and drive him to the spot, use the wall as cover
and kill the dealers to complete the mission.

BRIAN
a.
First Encounter The first encounter takes place near Romans old depot in Broker. Approach Brian
to trigger a conversation, whichll end netting you $100.
b. Second Encounter After your first meeting, Brian has developed an addiction to drugs and asks you
to drive him to his apartment so that he can collect his drugs from the dealer. Get inside a car and
drive him to his apartment in Masterson Street to complete the mission.
c.
Third Encounter In the third meeting, Brian reveals he has joined a rehabilitation program to avoid
his drug addiction and step nine is to apologize those he has harmed during his addiction period.
After the cut scene, get inside a car and drive him to the dealer. Watch the cut scene and soon the
dealer will start attacking Brian, kill them and take him back to his apartment.

iii.

CHERISE
a.
First Encounter Cherises new boyfriend is beating her up so she wants you to teach him a lesson.
Take Cherise to the marked spot and youll see the boyfriend hanging in the street, you can beat him
up to teach him a lesson or stick a bullet to his head and finish it quickly.

iv.

CLARENCE
a.
First Encounter Clarence business got shut down after your last encounter in the Projects, now hes
pissed and wants to kill you. Take out your gun and put a bullet in his body to complete the mission.

v.

EDDIE
a.
First Encounter Eddie asks you to help him ditch a bag containing some unmentionable contents,
probably a dead body. Get a car and drive him to the docks, then drop him off in Algonquin to
complete the mission.
b. Second Encounter During the second encounter, Eddie turns on Niko and attacks him, wipe out a gun
and spray some bullets on his body.

vi.

GRACIE
a.
First Encounter Gracie will recognize you are the kidnapper who took her and alerts the Alcelottis,
take cover and kill them.

vii.

HOSSAN
a.
First Encounter Hes guy with Niko in the opening cut scene. He can be found somewhere in
Algonquin, forgot the exact location. He asks you to accompany him to a deal and act as his
bodyguard, get inside a car and drive to the meeting spot. Deal goes wrong resulting the dealer to
escape in a car, chase after him and retrieve the cash. Then drive Hossan back to his place to
complete the mission.

viii.

ILEYNA
a.
First Encounter Ilyena is worried but her daughter and wants you to warn her boyfriend. Drive to
Dillion Street and youll find the guy near an alleyway, approach him to trigger a cut scene, where
Niko warns him to stay away from Fuastians daughter but he refuses it and challenges you for a
fight. Here you can ignore him and walk away, beat him up until he agrees to leave Fuastians daughter
or kill him.

ix.

IVAN
a.
First Encounter Ivan asks you to be his bodyguard while he collects some debts. Drive to the spot
and undoubtedly the loan sharks attacks him, kill them and talk to Ivan to complete the mission.

x.

JEFF
a.
First Encounter - Jeff thinks his wife is cheating him and wants you to follow her. Get inside a car
and follow her to the caf, wipe out your phone and take a photo of her, send it to Jeff and exit the
caf.
b. Second Encounter Youll get a call from Jeff telling you to meet him in Silicon Street. During the
cut scene hell reveal his dead wifes body and asks you to depose it, drive the car towards the river
and jump out before it reaches the water.
c.
Third Encounter Jeff asks you to kill his new wife but Niko refuses it, Jeff then tries to cross the
roads but gets hit by a car and dies.

MARINE

First Encounter Marine is a sick drug addict, in the cut scene shell ask Niko for some money but
then asks him to take her to a dealer. Get a car and drive her to the drug dealer, stop in the marker
and Niko will give her some cash before dropping her off.
Second Encounter Marnie wants to return to her family and stay with them so she asks you to take
her to the train station, get a car and drive her to the station to complete the mission.

xii.

MEL
a.
First Encounter - You can meet Mel near Comrades Bar in Broker, he asks you to be his guardian
angel while he pays his debts. Drive him to the meeting place and watch the cut scene, which is of
course ends up in attacking Mel. Kill the dealers and take Mel back to Comrades Bar to complete the
mission.

xiii.

PATHOS
a.
First Encounter Pathos can be found selling his music CDs in Alogonquin. During the cut scene, some
peds will start bullying about his music and eventually attacks him. Kill them and approach Pathos to
complete the encounter.
b. Second Encounter The second meeting is similar to the first one, some peds will attack his shop and
stabs him in the back. Kill the attackers and drive Pathos to the hospital to complete the mission.

xiv.

SARA
a.
First Encounter - In the cut scene, Sara asks you to take her to her apartment. Get a car and drive
to her apartment, stop in the marker and youll notice her husband waiting for her. Follow her to the
doorsteps and hell challenge you to a fight, you can either kill him or just walk away.
b. Second Encounter Sara asks you run an errand and pick up her package from Perseus. Drive to the
shop and the owner will handover you the package [FOR $500], take it back to sara to complete the
encounter.

STUNT JUMPS
I never get bored of these things, I always liked it in Vice City. Hop onto a vehicle go full speed jump from the edge
to trigger a cinematic scene I love it. There are 50 stunts which can be performed using a bike or a car though bike is
preferred. Just plan out where you need to jump and how to get there in full speed and youll do it just fine. Head over

VIGILANTE
Well you guys must already know this is right? Yes the same old vigilante missions done using police car, bust several
criminals and complete all 20 levels to complete the task. Blah. Theres nothing much to it, steal a car, lose the cops, turn
your vigilante mission and bust the criminals. Easy and boring.
