December has something magical


Christmas and New Year are coming and I really enjoy all the lights and
decorations around me. It gives me feelings of hope and joy. I have seen
new beginnings and I realized how lucky I am that I still can do what I am
doing.

Tutorial: Christmas Gift 2013


Earrings

This Tutorial will show you step by


step how to make these beautiful
earrings.
Material you need for beige and blue
earrings:
- Miyuki seed beads 15/0 4201,
Duracoat silver, less than 1 gr
(sb15)
-

Miyuki seed beads 11/0, 4201


Duracoat silver, about 1 gr
(sb11)

Miyuki seed beads 8/0, 4201


Duracoat silver (or any silver
you have), less than 1 gr
(sb8)

Superduo beads 5x2.5mm,


Chalk White Champaign Luster
03000/14413, about 6 gr

Swarovski bicones 4mm


emerald green AB, 16 pcs

Swarovski bicones 3mm


emerald green AB, 24 pcs

Some decorative beadsdrops, coin beads 2 pcs

Pearls/round bead 6 mm,


2 pcs

FireLine 0.06 gray or Nymo D


thread

Earwires

Needle size 12 or even better


Tulip needle 11

Step 1:
-

Pick up 1 pearl/round bead


6mm and 1 sb8

Pass back through the pearl.


Pull the thread tight.

Make a double knot with the


tail on the other side of the
pearl.

Pick up sb8, pass back


through the pearl and come
out through the sb8

Step 2
New row/RAW

Pick up 1 sb11, 1 sb8, 1 sb11


and pass back through the sb8.
Pull the thread tight, keep the
tension.

This is the first RAW unit.

Pass up through the sb11 and


come out through the sb8 on
the top

Pick up again 1 sb11, 1 sb8,


1 sb11 and pass back through
the sb8 on the top (where
your thread exits). Pull the
thread tight and keep the
tension!

Step 2 continues

Pass up through the sb11 and


come out through sb8 on the
top

Make one RAW unit more, so


in total you will have 3 RAW
units

Pick up 1 sb11 and pass


through the sb8 on the other
side of the pearl.

Step 2 continues

Pick up 1 sb11 and pass back


through the last top bead on
the other side of the pearl.
Pull the thread tight, keep
the tension!

So, you have a new RAW unit

Step 3

Make 3 RAW units on the other side


of the pearl keep the tension!!!

So, pick up 1 sb11, 1 sb8,


1 sb11 and pass back through
the top sb8 Repeat 2 more
times

3 RAW units

Step 3 continues

Pick up 1 sb11 and pass


through the sb8 on the other
side of the pearl. Pull the
thread tight, keep the tension!

Pick up again 1 sb11 and pass


back through the sb8 (top
bead on the last RAW units)

Pass through sb11, sb8 and


come out through sb11 (side
bead)

Step 4
New row

Between each sb11, add


1 sb11 all the way around.
Pull the thread tight, keep the
tension!

With the last bead, pass


through the last sb11 (side
bead) and pass through the
next 2 beads (the second
bead will be the side bead
from the next RAW unit). Pull
the thread tight!

Pass down through the sb8


and come out through the
sb11 on the other side of the
pearl.

Step 5
New row

Repeat step 4 on this side of the


pearl.

With the last bead, pass


through the last sb11 (side
bead) and pass through the
next 2 beads Pull the thread
tight!

Step 6
New row
-

Pick up 1 bicone 3mm,


1 sb11, 1 bicone 3 mm

Skip 3 sb11s and pass


through the 4th sb11

Repeat 3 more times all the way


around.

Finished.

Step 7
New row
-

Pass up through the bicone


and come out through the
sb11 between the bicones.

Pick up 3 sb11s and pass


back through the sb11 and
come out through the second
bicone.

Pick up 1 sb8 and pass


through the next bicone and
come out through sb11
between the next two bicones.

Finished.

When you finish, pass up


through 2 sb11s (come out
through the top bead)

Between each top bead from


the previous row, add 1 sb8
all the way around. Pull the
thread tight each time
when you add a new sb8!

You should get this.

Pass through all beads (8 in


total) once again, pull the
thread tight!

This will be the back side of the


earring.

Pass down through 3 sb11s


(come out through the sb11
between the bicones)

Pick up 3 sb11s and pass


back through the sb11 where
your thread exits,

Pass through the bicone 3mm


and come out through the sb8

Pass through the next bicone


3mm and come out through
the sb11 between the bicones.
