Note :1. 2M means 2nd Mate FG; 1M PH-I means 1st Mate (FG) Phase-I; 1M PH-II means 1st Mate (FG) Phase-II and ASM means Advanced
Shipboard Management Examination of Master (FG).
2. Dr.(Kol) means Dredging Grade Examinations to be held at Kolkata.
3. Fishing (Ch.) means Fishing Grade Examinations to be held at Chennai.
4. Ex. M means Extra Master parts shown in brackets
5. Duration of courses: - 2nd Mate (FG) Function: 4 months / 1st Mate Phase-I: - 3 months / 1st Mate Phase-II:- 3 months / Advanced Shipboard
Management (ASM): - 1.5 month.
6. Each course except course of Ex [M] and ASM shall commence on 15 th day of the month and will end on 14 th day of the month after completion of the
duration. ASM course shall commence on 1st day of the month and will end on 14/15th day of the month after completion of duration.
7. This Schedule does not include course / examinations for NCV grade and 2 nd Mate Foundation which shall be issued separately by LBS College.
8. All NCV Grade (NWKO, Master & Mates) Examinations & 2M Foundation Examination Conducted at LBS College of AMSAR.
