PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Public Transport is the quickest and easiest way to get to and from an event at
Festival Hall.
TRAIN
Southern Cross Station (Suggested) 12-15-minute walk (1.1 km).
Walk northbound of the city along Spencer Street and turn left into Dudley
Street.
North Melbourne Station 8-10-minute walk (900m).
Walk southbound down either Adderley St or Railway Place to reach
Dudley St.
TRAM
Routes 24, 30, 35 (free City Circle), 75, 86 and 95 stop at the corner of
Latrobe and Spencer Streets.
Festival Hall is a 5-minute walk along Spencer Street away from the city
and left into Dudley Street.
BUS
Route 220 runs along Dudley Street, use stop number 5.
TAXI
Drop off and pick up can be made in Rosslyn Street or Spencer Street.
Taxi ranks are located at Southern Cross Station

TICKET TYPES
There are two different ticket types for the event they are as follows:
GENERAL ADMISSION (FLOOR)- tickets entitle patrons entry to event and
access to the floor area
GA ticket holders enter the Venue via 7 dedicated entry doors (Red Arrows)
located along Dudley Street
VIP BALCONY tickets entitle patrons entry to event and access to both the
floor and the VIP Balcony with dedicated toilets and bar offering.
VIP & GUEST LIST ticket holders enter the Venue via Door B (Blue Arrow) located
on Dudley street
Please find a copy of the venue site map highlighting the operating entry doors
available to patrons.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All patrons entering the venue must be over the age of 18, entry to the event is
at own risk.
All patrons entering the event must have a valid photo ID and ticket.
Valid Photo ID is required for entry (VALID Passport, VALID Australian
Driver License or State specific proof of age card).
Attendees from overseas must bring their valid passport to gain entry. Overseas
Drivers License, Student University and/or Public Transport cards will
not be accepted.
On request security have the right to ask you to legitimise yourself with further
ID requests.
ID checks followed by bag searches will be conducted upon entry.
ONLY VIP patrons will be wrist banded at Door B to denote their access to VIP
Balcony.
Wristbands are not transferrable and must be worn at all times, patrons must not
tamper with or remove them for the duration of the event, if removed a patron
may be ejected from the event.
Wristbands remain the property of Symbiotic at all times.
There are strictly NO PASS OUTS permitted at the event.
REJECTION OF ENTRY OR EJECTION FROM EVENT
Security staff are entitled to search; pat down or metal detect any patron upon
entry. Any person not compliant will be refused entry or removed from the event
without refund.
Access to the event is prohibited or refused to people who:
Are clearly under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other stimulant.
Have been banned from events before, imposed by either the
administrative, legal or police governing bodies.
Illustrate behaviour that intends to disturb public peace or to provoke
assault.
Intentionally attempt to conceal prohibited items with the intent to bypass
security screening.
Are wearing gang related colours, Hi-vis clothing, or attempting to
resemble any staff member; including unauthorized media vests, or
Only authorised and fully accredited media approved by the Marketing and
Publicity departments are permitted at Symbiotic events.
Any media or persons found to be carrying media equipment (microphones,
recording devices, camera etc.) or deliberately deceiving staff will be removed
and banned from Symbiotic events for an indefinite period.
If you are evicted from the event, you will not be allowed re-entry.

PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are not permitted inside the venue:
No liquids are permitted on site for security reasons; there is free water available
at all bars within the venue.
No animals are permitted on site excluding authorised guide companion dogs.

CLOAKING SERVICES
There are cloaking services available at the event.
Please note that it is venue policy that all large bags i.e. backpacks or anything
larger than a handbag (approx. A4 size) must be cloaked prior to entry at a cost
of $3 per item.
There will be access to cloak items inside from the downstairs area
IMPORTANT: you cannot pick up or access cloaked items from the internal window
Symbiotic will not take responsibility for cloaked items.
Please ensure you keep your ID on you for bar service.
MERCHANDISE
Merchandise will be available at the event.
POLICE
Police have the right to attend Symbiotic events and have the right to question
and eject patrons from the event, if they are suspected of possessing illegal
substances, weapons or contraband.
Patrons should respect police and be compliant with their requests, but should
also be aware of their rights.
FIRST AID
First Aid will be available at the event.
By entering the event and using the Venue and St Johns medical facilities, a
patron consents to providing access to their medical information.
LIABILITY
Symbiotic and the Venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages
sustained entering or within the premises.
Symbiotic will not be held liable for any hearing damage or loss. Use earplugs if
necessary, these are available for purchase at all Bars.
Symbiotic accepts no responsibility for patrons actions.
ACCESSIBILITY & MOBILITY IMPAIRED POLICY
A dedicated entry lane will be available to those in possession of a Companion
Card.
Dedicated toilets will also be available at the event
