Conjunction

- the action or an instance of two or more events or things occurring at the same
point in time or space.

KINDS OF CONJUNCTION
Coordinating Conjunction
- a conjunction placed between words, phrases, clauses, or sentences of
equal rank, e.g., and, but,or.

Examples:
I like anime and harry potter.
Nicole likes harry potter, but John likes anime.
We like to read and watch.

Correlative Conjunction
- Correlative conjunctions are pairs such as neither . . . nor, not . . . only, and but . . .
also.

Examples:
She is both intelligent and beautiful.
I will either go for a hike or stay home and watch TV.
Jerry is neither rich nor famous.

Conjunctive Adverbs
- Conjunctive adverbs are parts of speech that are used to connect one
clause to another.

Examples:
Jeremy kept talking in class; therefore, he got in trouble.
She went into the store; however, she didnt find anything she wanted
to buy.
I like you a lot; in fact, I think we should be best friends.
