INFLUENCE OF SERVICE QUALITY ANC TO PREGNANT WOMEN IN SIKUI

PHC OF BARITO UTARA DISTRICT

ABSTRACT
Background: Important components in the mother's health is a universal Antenatal Care to
prevent maternal and infant mortality by 10T. Midwives should really be able to become a
friend and a good listener for pregnant women, are able to explain and direct the pregnant
women towards a better and is able to provide remedies for pregnant women. Preliminary
study results obtained from 10 pregnant women as much as 8 pregnant women (80%), say
less satisfied with the services provided by midwives at Sikui public health centers
Objective: Analyze influence of service quality ANC to pregnant women in sikui PHC of
barito utara district
Methods: The research method is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. How
sampling in this study conducted by purposive sampling as many as 51 pregnant women at
Sikui public health centers. Collecting data using a questionnaire that was analyzed using
The Chi Square correlation test on the degree of confidence (0,05) 95%.
Result: Service quality and tangibles both mother expressed satisfaction was 22 people
(58%). No effect of tangibles (physical evidence) to pregnant women in sikui PHC of Barito
Utara District (p = 0,374 (0,05)). By reliability is good and expressed satisfaction was 22
people (71%). There are influence of reliability (Reabilitas) pregnant women in sikui PHC of
Barito Utara District (p = 0.003 = < (0,05); OR = 7,333). In responsiveness so that the
mother was satisfied was 23 people (79%). There are influence responsiveness
(comprehension) to pregnant women in sikui PHC of Barito Utara District (p = 0,000 = <
(0,05); OR = 17,250). In assurance good but mothers are not satisfied with 16 (57%). No
influence of assurance (guarantee) to pregnant women in sikui PHC of Barito Utara District
(p = 0,190 (0,05)). In empaty not good so that mothers are not satisfied about 10 people
(50,00%). No effect of empathy (sympathy) to pregnant women in sikui PHC of Barito Utara
District (p = 0,038 < (0,05); OR = 3,958).
Conclusion: Satisfaction to pregnant women in getting ANC influenced by three things are
reliability, responsiveness and empathy.
