Day 1 - 14th July 2016

We were briefed about the course assessment. As required by the


assessment, we have formed a group of nine. We then named our group as "Green
Trend" as we thought it best described our modern go-green recycling projects. We
also discussed about the number of recycling projects to be conducted by
brainstorming group ideas. Recycled materials were also a major consideration
factor for the project as they should to be practical. Later, we watched the
"Apprentice" in class.

Day 2 - 19th July 2016

Team A (Gek Lian, Jie Yi and Monica) was in charge of making newspaper
baskets project leading by Jie Yi. Some of the main components needed were stacks
of old newspaper, glue, blade, stapler and cardboards.
Team B (Felicia, Sie Yee and Qiu Wei) were in charge of cosmetic storage box
project. The team was led by Felicia. A used shoebox, a pair of scissors, mirror, old
magazines, glue, ruler and pen were required to carry out the project.
Team C was led by Ei Reen and the other members were Ching Yau and
Saradiyana. The team was assigned to making shopping bag with an old dress. A
pair of scissors, threads and needles were needed.

Day 3 - 21st July 2016


Each team began their projects assigned with the materials prepared by all
members. Initially there were some difficulties met by the teams. For instance, team
A had to watch the tutorial video of basket-making in order to get every steps
correctly done. However, all team members showed selflessness and were willing to
help each other to overcome all difficulties. As a results, all projects were done halfway at the end of the class.

Day 4 - 26th July 2016

As all team members were extremely cooperative, we have easily overcame


all issues without any dispute. Since team A completed their project assigned ahead
of others, they then had decided to make two more newspaper baskets to showcase
their unique teamwork and artistry skill. All teams managed to finish all projects.
Day 5 - 2nd August 2016
As all projects were completed, we then tested the durability of each product
and made sure they were user friendly as well. We also discussed about the selling
price for each recycled product and made sure all costs were recoverable.

Total profit: 8.8+12.4+3.8= MYR 25
