Welcome to Stanford!
Stanford Conference Services is delighted to welcome
your distinguished program to our beautiful campus this
summer. Our mission is to create an exceptionally
rewarding experience for you through Stanford's world-
class academic resources, comfortable campus housing,
award-winning dining, and outstanding customer service.
This guide references the many campus resources and
activities available to you during your stay. For additional
information, please refer to your Conference Front Desk

The Cardinal Mall (online campus shopping)
Shop with online convenience and enjoy free delivery to
your Conference Front Desk! Stanford's Cardinal Mall
features easy and reliable online ordering for dry-
cleaning, laundry, and housecleaning services, kitchen
packs, household and cleaning products, and emergency
supplies. The Cardinal Mall provides secure online Visa
and MasterCard transactions. Please visit the Cardinal

Conference ID Card
Upon checking in, you will receive a Conference ID Card
for accessing the various resources described in this
guide. Validated Conference ID cards must bear the
conference's name and dates, as well as the cardholder's
name and signature. For verification purposes, the
Stanford facilities described in this guide have been given
a list of this summer's conferences, along with their
corresponding dates. Please note that Conference ID
cards are not transferable, and can only be used during
the dates of the cardholder's conference.
Please contact each entity directly for scheduling updates,
including July 4th and Labor Day hours and/or closures.

Stanford Dining payment options: Manzanita Dining
Hall only accepts cash, Cardinal Dollars, and the Stanford
Card Plan; all other retail locations accept cash, Cardinal
Dollars, Visa and MasterCard.
Recreational Facilities
The Stanford Department of Athletics, Physical Education
and Recreation sells daily athletic facility passes to
conferees for accessing the recreational facilities listed on
the next page. Daily passes are $5 each or $25 for seven
daily passes. A Conference ID card is necessary for
purchasing a pass, and conferees' may only access the
recreational facilities during the conference dates
indicated on their cards. Passes can be purchased at the
Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation, 341 Galvez
Street, during normal business hours. Please note that as
the summer approaches, schedules for the recreational
facilities listed on the next page may change. In addition,
the scheduling of special events may supersede the final
