Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes!

Flashcards + dominoes!
How to Play:
Print out the dominoes and cut them up into standard dominoes. Put them to one side
for later in the class.
Print out the flashcards and use them to pre-teach the class. Following this, divide your
class into small groups of 3 or 4 students. Give each student 5 dominoes and put the
rest in the middle face down.
Get one student to start by placing down one of their dominoes. The next student
needs to place down one of their dominoes which matches one of the pictures already
placed down. For example, if the first student has put down an eye / knee domino,
then the next student needs to put down any domino with either an eye OR a knee on
it. Pictures connect with other pictures to make a chain. Students also need to SAY THE
BODY PART they are connecting this is where the English body parts vocab review
comes into this game.
If they cant go, then the student who cant go has to pick up one of the dominoes from
the face down pile. It is now the third students turn to play. Students keep taking turns
to play (or pick up from the pile if they cant move) until one player has run out of
dominoes. This player is the winner.
Important: Before handing out the dominoes and separating into groups, play a
practice game with You vs The Class so they understand how to play. Play twice as a
demo if needed.
