Elementary Music Teachers,

As the Director of Music Programs, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you back for another
amazing year in NEISD. I hope you enjoyed time with family and friends this summer and that you spent plenty
of time resting and relaxing. As we begin this year, you will notice many new faces joining the NEISD
Elementary Music family as well as several veteran teachers who have moved to new campuses. I truly believe
we have the strongest group of elementary music educators in the state of Texas!
Your Elementary Music Coordinators have been hard at work planning staff development opportunities that will
greatly benefit you and your students. Please add the dates below to your calendars. Also note these
meetings are mandatory and you must make every effort to attend each and every meeting. If for any reason
you find you will need to be absent, you must contact your Elementary Music Coordinator prior to the date of the
meeting.

Additional workshop opportunities will be provided by your elementary music coordinators. These additional
workshops are not required but are highly recommended as we all strive to become the best music educators
we can be.
