About the Writer

Atif Ali, born in august 1991,


has a Masters in English
Literature Degree. He has
taught in The City School
Mianwali and The Allied
School. Currently, he is
working as an English Teacher
in Superior College Mianwali.
In 2015, his poem 'One Day'
appeared in an International
E-Journal "Literary Herald". His
poems "Heyonka-An Old Tree"
and "Once I Saw Myself in a
Dream" garnered him international acclaim. The poem "I
Stopped and Saw that" is his best observational poem. But
the real milestone of his career came, when he published his
story, "A Girl with a Black Umbrella". This story was published
on a social media page and attracted international acclaim.
The story of a Teacher who fell in love with the shadow of a
dead girl created a sensation on social media.

Atif Ali has been praised internationally for his highly


imaginative and Philosophical work and the simplicity of
expression. "Kannu and the Raven" is his first work to be
published in a Book form. Apart from Teaching and Writing,
his lectures on "Negative Capability", "Plot", "Classic Unities"
and "Dramatic Irony" and many more have helped him in
plucking the fruit from the tree of fame.
