I agree with the claim stated by the author that those in power, be it any

field- business, politics, education or government, should step down after five
years, as the surest path to success for any enterprise is by revitalization
through new leadership.

First of all, in politics, the party in power should step down after five years
and give the opposition a chance to fulfill the promises that were made on
their part when they were not in power. The opposition which used to
undermine all the actions taken by the party in power should be given a
chance to keep their word. Even if the opposition is not able to fulfill all their
promises in the most idealistic way but the whatever change they will
implement will bring good for the country. Moreover it will also give a
motivation to the party who who lost the election to work harder for the
country and bring further good.

Moreover in business, the leader who is taking all major decisions is

sometimes not able to see the wrong decisions taken by him. It is said that
one should sometimes lay back and let any other person look through your
work so that one can realise the mistakes they were committing. Moreover
the organization will also benefit with the same as new policies and ideas will
be introduced.

Furthermore in education, the leader of the school is oblivious to the

hardships faced by the children studying at various levels. The head of a
grade teacher sometimes called the "representative" in various schools
should be given a chance to serve as the leader as they are more closely
linked to the students, have an idea as to what probelms are faced by the
students and also have an administration experience as they are the
representatives, By this change the students will be at greater ease and will
be able to perform better.

The above reasons strengthen my stand that those in power should step
down after five years as the surest path to success for any enterprise is
revitalization through new leadership.
