This document is a court case summary from the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. The court affirmed the lower court's denial of a writ of habeas corpus for William Alfred Walker, who was sentenced under Virginia's habitual offender law to 15 years in prison. The Supreme Court's previous decision in Gryger v. Burke fully answered all the legal questions raised in Walker's appeal. Therefore, the Fourth Circuit affirmed the order denying the writ of habeas corpus.
