Law Mockery: IPS Suspended

Amitabh Thakur; IG of Police, Civil Defense was suspended by U.P.

government

ii.

The IPS allegedly complained against a politician for threatening him

iii. The complaint was followed by an F.I.R. being registered against

Amitabh in an year old rape complaint by a woman
iv. As of now, the IPS has been suspended owing to inquiry into the
matter and alleged indiscipline
v.

Uttar Pradeshs govt. has also been in news for high-handedness

shown in case of an I.A.S. Durga Shakti Nagpal

vi. The move by the state govt. is being criticized unanimously among all
strata of the society.
