‘To Whom It May Concern: 03/24/2016
‘As the Social Worker at Collins Elementary, | have had the pleasure of working with Ms. Bachi for the
past 2 years. Ms. Bachi joined us when a 3" grade placement opened up unexpectedly over the
‘summer. This classroom had been hand-picked for a “seasoned” teacher with exceptional classroom
management skills and experience with special -needs students. Ms. Bachi was faced with extreme
behavior and instructional issues, beyond those of any other class in our school. Despite it being her
first year, Ms. Bachi enthusiastically rose to the challenge and succeeded in meeting classroom and
individual student goals. She began every day with enthusiasm and gave each student a fresh start from
yesterday's mistakes. She showed the perfect balance of handling issues on her own and seeking help
from support staff. Ms. Bachi optimistically implemented each behavior plan that was suggested and
patiently provided the feedback | needed before changes could be made. Even with a classroom of
challenges, Ms. Bachi class management skills allowed children to work and learn in a calm
environment. It was clear to students and staff alike that she cared deeply about every one of her
students and inspired them to do their very best. Ms. Bachi’s first year at our school could not have
been any more difficult for her but she successfully met the challenge. She now has a val i
of skills she can take with her to all future teaching positions. 1 offer this letter of
utmost confidence that Ms, Bachi will be an asset to any school.
Sincerely,
