Chalk Talk is a way for all students to voice their thoughts and
opinions. As the beginning place for the school year, it is really
important for each student to establish why he or she is in the class
and what their reason is for learning Spanish is. For this lesson,
students will use post-it notes to write all of the reasons they can think
of that anyone would want to or need to learn Spanish. These will then
be shared out as a whole class. Finally, students will complete an
Instagram post with their reason, unique hashtags, and picture.
