We were so heartbroken to leave my only daughter behind in Vietnam and came to
US in December 2007 since she aged out.
I filed I-130 to petition for daughter on June 25, 2008 as unmarried child 21/older of
permanent resident, 203(a)(2)(B) INA.
During this waiting period, my daughter got married on November 13, 2008 and had
2 little boys until now. Also, honorably I was naturalized on May 21, 2014.
On Dec 01, 2014 we received letter from NVC with case number on it and notified us
to pay fee, complete visa case, and schedule interview but I know that my daughter
was no longer eligible. As a reason, we didnt proceed.
Its been more than 8 years my family has been apart. Ive not seen my daughter,
son-in-law, and 2 grandsons face-to-face. Having financial problem is stopping me
from travelling to Vietnam to visit them, so every day the only way we could see
each other is the webcam. If I re-petition for her family again that would make our
reunion path much further.
Im asking you for a big favor if you would consider moving the original petition
section to her current eligibility but still keep the priority date. Due to missing our
daughter family, I would find every way to shorten time of reunion. Probably this is
too much to ask because I know there must be many families having same
problems as us.

Naturalization Certificate, Daughter Marriage Certificate in Vietnamese,
