Are you gathering any feedback? Did anyone compliment or criticize you? Is
there a formal feedback loop? How did you take this feedback?
There is no formal feedback loop at exide. There are 5 interns in HR department
with 3 guides. The guides are mentoring their respective interns according to their
way of working and there is no particular method set by exide that they follow.
The other guides had made their interns give a mid-term presentation to check their
work half way through the internship, whereas, my guide kept continuously
reviewing my work as and when it is done.
Once when I had done everything wrong, she did not tell that to me directly, she
told me what more can I do and I should try a different method of doing it. And
when I do something correct or something that meets her expectation she directly
praises me. In other words, my guide, Amruta gives positive feedback as it isdirectly and negative feedback subtly or indirectly using positive words.
There is no formal meetings for gathering feedback at exide, it is usually while
having regular conversation with our guide or any other senior management.
