CRAB PEPPER MASALA (For 2 big crabs)

Recipe:
Ingredients to make main paste:

2 Tsp Black Pepper Corns


1 Tsp Jeera
Tsp Fennel Seeds
1 Tsp Kaskas Soak for half an hour before grinding
2 to 4 Cashew nuts (Optional) Soak for half an hour before
grinding
6. 2/3 big Garlic cloves
7. 1 small cinnamon stick
Ratio of Pepper Corns: Jeera: Fennel seeds = 2 : 1 :
Grind the above ingredients and make a paste. Keep it aside.

Preparation:
1. Wash the crabs well adding little turmeric powder
2. Heat coconut oil in the pan

3. Add Tsp fennel seeds

4. Add few curry leaves

Add 2 medium size chopped onions, 1 chopped tomato and stir


Add Tsp of Ginger-Garlic paste
Stir well
Add the paste and mix well

Add the crab pieces and mix

Add Tsp Turmeric powder, 1Tsp Coriander Powder, Tsp
Chilly powder, Tsp Garam masala powder(

Mix well
Stir for some time
Add enough water ( water from the mixer after taking paste
can be added)

Add salt and Close the lid


Let it cook until the raw smell of the crab goes
Once it is done, add little coconut oil before removing it
heat

Optional steps:

1. Crab can be half cooked in water with little pinch of turmeric


powder before adding it to the pan
2. Lemon juice can be added at the end
