Just lovin' it

McDonalds responded Monday to a poem The McDonalds Man presented as

Kanye Wests work in Frank Oceans zine Boys Dont Cry, released Saturday at
pop-up stores in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and London.

The poem featured lines like I dont trust no food that smells that good man, and
Even the McRib was jealous of the fries. I could see it through his artificial meat
eyes.

Reached via e-mail, Terri Hickey, a spokesperson for McDonalds, addressed Wests
criticism of the chains meat in a statement released to TIME.

Were lovin the love for McDonalds World Famous Fries and Apple Pies. Like the
beef in our burgers our love for our fans creativity is 100 percent.
Wests poem about the fast food chain was presented along with Oceans longawaited new album Blonde. The prose, which appears in the zine on the
restaurants drive-thru order board, personifies several McDonalds items in an
imagined political coup scenario.
