1. What do you mean by EIM eLAB ACCESS?

EIM eLAB Access is an android application envisioned to improve the way
of borrowing and securing the equipment in the EIM laboratory. It is a resource
management system for the laboratory for handling reservations and allowing
search facilities for the users to find out information of equipment in details. It is a
better solution with convenient features such as user friendly and functionality. It
is the reservation feature of the Inventory Management System of EIM
Department developed by selected students of BatStateU.
2. Through where I access that application?
Every student of EIM Department and other courses that also use some of
the departments equipment can access the application through their smartphone
being connected in an internet connection and downloading it in the play store.
Students can only access the application within the CEAFA building of
BatStateU.
3. How will I register? How will I log in?
Every student can register in the application by clicking the Register
button and inputting his/her ID/SR-Code and name. Every student can log in by
clicking the Log In button.
4. How can I be able to see all possible equipment to be reserved?
Every student can be able to see all possible equipment to be reserved in
the EIM department by registering/logging in in the application and this redirected
the user to the Equipment Master List page. This page is consisting of lists of
equipment and tools including each quantity and status.
5. How can I know if my target equipment is already reserved at that time and date?
The Equipment Master List page lets the user to see lists of equipment
and tools including each quantity and status. The user can use the search bar to
look quickly for the equipment or tools he/she wants to reserve. Clicking on
View button of a specific equipment or tool allows the user to input for his/her
target date and time for reserving the equipment to view the status of the
equipment or tools.
6. How will my reservation be voided?
Users reservation will be voided if he/she will not be able to come and get
his/her reserved equipment 5 minutes before the time he/she reserved the
equipment.
7. Do the user needs to logout?
The user doesnt need to logout on the application upon finishing the reservation.
