The current system

The university evaluates the proposed subjects to be enrolled by
students manually.
The instructor whos assigned as the departments evaluator is the one
who is responsible in the approval of subjects a student wished to
enroll.
Due to human error, inconsistent decisions were given to the students;
there were cases that students having the same standing were being
judged in different ways.
Students also suffer on repeated revisions of their Program of Study
when the evaluators decision differs from time to time.
The manual process of evaluation also consumes a lot of time both of
the students and the evaluator.
The current system is good on the aspect that the evaluator can give
advices on how the student can manage the subjects to be enrolled.
The evaluator can tell the student which subject should be prioritized
and which subjects are available on different departments.
The proposed system
In this project, the system is expected to be able to automatically
evaluate and encode a students application for enrolment. It is also
expected that through the use of the new system, manual works in the
enrolment process will diminish and a length of time will be conserve.
Furthermore, the aim of the system is to serve as the standard
evaluating scheme of the department.
The interaction between a student and evaluator resulting to
complications and students non-stop complains are brought to a
system.
In this proposed system, evaluation of subjects will be prospectusbased. Everything will be from the prospectus or from the reasonable
inputs of the department head.
Unbiased judgments and consistent decisions will be implemented
within the department..

 The system will only need all the grades of the student on the previous
semester and then the system will evaluate what is the best set of
subjects he/she will take.
The only working method from the old system that will be incorporated
in this new system is the need of an evaluator whom will be the user of
the developed website.
