Collaborative Peer Evaluation


The chart below includes the criteria that each group member should be evaluated on. Add up each of the scores for each
team member to get a mark out of 20 in the final column. Half marks are permitted. Please evaluate yourself as well
(although your self-score will not be utilized in the overall calculations).
You will receive an average
mark which will then be divided
by your groups average mark.
This will give you a multiplication
factor for which your group test
grade will be multiplied, giving you
your total score.

For example: if my average score


was 18/20 and the groups average
score was 15/20, my multiplication
factor would be 18/15=1.2.
If
the group test score is 70%, my
individual score would be 70 x 1.2 =
84%.

Likewise if one of my group


members average score is 8/20
then her multiplication factor would
be 8/15=0.53 making her individual
score 70 x 0.53=37%.

The instructor reserves the right to assign the final grade. Late submission of a collaborative peer evaluation will
result in a mark of zero on your self-evaluation.
The following rating scale is to be used to assess the contributions of each group member:
5 = excellent / well beyond
expectations

3 = satisfactory / meets
expectations

1 = completely unsatisfactory / far


below expectations

4 = very good / beyond


expectations

2 = unsatisfactory / below
expectations

0 = this mark indicates that the


group member contributed
NOTHING, and a grade of 0 should
be given for all five criteria

COMMENTS: Overall my group worked together and collaborated on this project. However some group members were
unable to show up the day of the survey implementation and presentation after previously saying that they will be there. As
well the work that divided did not end up being equal. Some group members did more work than others.
