What was the biggest challenge you faced while planning the lesson?
- The biggest challenge we faced while planning the lesson was trying to find a
language, other than English, that we all had a little background of. Personally, I only
speak English. I took Spanish in elementary school, like most people, but I havent
taken it since 6th grade. I took Latin from 7th grade-11th grade.
What was the biggest challenge you faced while teaching the lesson?
- The hardest challenge I faced when teaching the lesson was communicating with my coteachers during the process. It was also hard to keep my thoughts organized, being that
we were speaking in a different language.
What did you rely on the most during your instruction to overcome these challenges?
- To overcome these challenges, I felt that I relied on my co-teachers a lot because they
had a stronger background in Spanish than I did. I also relied on the participation of the
students to guide the lesson.
Was communication with your students easier or more difficult than you originally
thought?
- Communication with our students was made a lot easier because we had visual aids to
compliment the typed out phrases in Spanish as well as us speaking Spanish.
Do you feel you used co-teaching as effectively as you could have?
- I definitely dont think I used co-teaching the best way I could have. My group did not
work well together because two members of the group were very controlling throughout
the lesson.
Do you feel you achieved your objective? How can you be sure you did or didnt?
- The objective was somewhat achieved. The students were able to pick up on the phrases
we wrote up but overall, I dont think they took a lot away fro the lesson other than
confusion.
As a student of other groups lessons, what was the biggest challenge you faced?
- The biggest challenge I faced during the other groups lessons was understanding what
they were saying. It was really hard to focus and want to pay attention when I had no clue
what was going on or what was being said.

As a student, what did you rely on most to comprehend what was being taught?
- I relied on visual aids to comprehend what was being taught. If people did not have
PowerPoints or pictures, I would have been completely lost.
