1. Mineral These are solid and appear as a crystal because of a specific chemical
structure formed by geological processes.
2. Isotopes These are variants of a particular chemical element which differ in
neutron number, although all isotopes of a given element have the same number
of protons in each atom.
3. Luster It is the way a mineral surface looks when light reflects off of the
surface.
4. Streak It is a flash of light or a long thin line or stripe that stand out in color or
texture from its surroundings.
5. Crystal form It is when a chemical compound became solid.
6. Hardness it is the quality or state of being hard.
7. Cleavage It is a difference between two people or things that often causes
arguments or problems.
8. Fracture It is a crack or broken part in a bone or other hard substance.
9. Rock-hard forming minerals These are made up of one or a number of
chemical elements with a definite chemical composition.
10. Gemstone It is a beautiful stone that was cut into a beautiful shape/
11. Reserves It is an amount of something kept for future use.
12. Ores It is a naturally occurring solid material from which a metal or valuable
mineral can be profitably extracted.
