Why red light is used everywhere

Human eye can see the wavelengths in a particular spectrum VIBGYOR, Violet to Red i.e. 0.4
Microns to 0.7 Microns.
Violet colour has the lowest wavelength and red colour has the largest wavelength. Because the
wavelength of red colour is largest so it travels the farthest distance detected by human eye. Any
Marking in Red Colour can be seen from large distance and hence red colour is used in Braking
Lights at the back of vehicles, Traffic Light Signals and Danger Area Markings.
